An says, “Dragon Day is one of my favourite days of spring semester. It’s not only the beginning of spring break, it’s also the one day I get to see almost all Cornellians watching the archies march down East Ave with that year’s dragon. There’s a sense of Cornellian pride as we’re on East Ave anticipating the dragon’s appearance.” 

But this year, the dragon finally met its match in the engineers’ phoenix: 

Elisabeth Rosen is a College Scholar at Cornell University with concentrations in anthropology, social psychology and creative writing. She is currently the co-editor of Her Campus Cornell. She has interned at The Weinstein Company and Small Farms Quarterly and worked as a hostess at a Japanese restaurant.
