10 Things I Learned About Cornell From “Campus Story”

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Cornell chapter.

1.     We feel the need to periodically remind everyone that we have a giant tower…

2.     We’re all about gains, in the most liberal sense…

3.     Prelims are life: we either got em’ or lament why the heck we can’t just say “midterms”…

4.     And to reduce all that stress, we resort to ogling cute animals…

5.     20+ degrees = tanning weather…

6.     We tend to pull all-nighters: some say to get work done, but actually so we can complain about them…

7.     Class can be pretty freaking cool (when you’re not on the verge of failing)….

8.     Are campus is gorges– or a frozen wasteland

9.     We are ridiculously talented, at pretty much everything…

10.  Some people should have no Snapchat shame, makes us wonder what gets filtered out before even being posted on Campus Story…

I am a sophomore Communication major at Cornell University, with minors in Creative Writing and Law & Society. I was born and raised in California and, besides writing, I have interests in 4-H, law and film production. At Cornell, I serve on the Literature Review, am an avid member of Film Society, work as a Cornell Ambassador and participate in AWC (American Women in Communication). I am also the Campus Correspondent for Cornell's Her Campus chapter!!
