One of the greatest struggles many of us face is choosing what to watch on Netflix. You no longer have to worry about this as I’ve provided a list of must-watch shows that may or may not have already been on your list.
1. The Flash
This Marvel show follows superhero Barry Allen who was transformed into a “meta-human” following an explosion of a particle accelerator that shook the entirety of Central City. After gaining incredible speed, Barry, aka The Flash, begins to track down others who were also transformed on the night of the explosion.

2. The Great British Bake-Off
If you’re into baking (though, like me, not necessarily the best at it) this show is perfect for you. Situated in the English countryside, The Great British Bake-Off is a competition to see who is the best baker in all of England. Every episode consists of a Skills Challenge, a Signature Piece and a Showstopper. The two scary but knowledgeable judges and crazy lovable hosts make this British show better than any Food Network one.

3. Dexter
The show follows a psychopath hunting psychopaths. It’s creepy but exhilarating, so it’s  definitely a must-watch. Need I say more?
Â
4. The Carrie Diaries
Set in the mid 80s, The Carrie Diaries is a precursor to Sex and the City. Protagonist Carrie Bradshaw is played by Anna Sophia Robb and her love interest Sebastian is played by teen heartthrob Austin Butler. Take a look if you love Austin Butler, 80s fashion, or the Sex and the City series!

5. Hawaii Five-O
Do you love crime? Do you love the beach? If you answered yes to both of these questions, you will love Hawaii Five-O, a modern spin-off of the original version that aired in the sixties. The show follows Steve McGarrett and his Five-O task force as they encounter a range of villains. The best part of the show is the banter between McGarrett and his partner in crime Danno while also blessing us with the natural beauty of the Hawaiian islands.

6. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
If you’re ever feeling nostalgic, watch the 2005 version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, a Roald Dahl classic. Nothing can make you happier than seeing a kind-hearted little boy get what he deserves after a lifetime of living in poverty (and watching brats get flushed down the garbage chute and turned into blueberries). Johnny Depp also puts on an amazing performance.
Â
7. Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown
The show chronicles the experiences of Anthony Bourdain, a chef and author, as he travels around the world. Parts Unknown allows you to explore the world from Japan to Sicily to Ethiopia and experience the local flavors and cultures. Anthony Bourdain is a pretty crazy guy, so he does some cool things you probably wouldn’t do on vacation and isn’t afraid to ask controversial questions. Netflix offers a full 6 seasons worth of the show.
Â
8. Good Will Hunting
Originally written as part of Matt Damon’s project for a class at Harvard, Good Will Hunting is amazing film full of depth and strong character development (which we would expect from a Harvard graduate). Matt Damon stars in the movie as Will, a janitor working at MIT, who is discovered to be a mathematics genius. His real-life best friend Ben Affleck also stars as Will’s best friend.
Â
9. Freaks and Geeks
Though a short-lived show cancelled after its first season, the 18 episodes that aired perfectly capture the struggles of high school. Starring young James Franco, Seth Rogen and Jason Segel, the show contains a start-studded cast before they rose to fame.

10. 10 Things I Hate About You
Starring the late Heath Ledger, 10 Things I Hate About You is arguably one of the best rom-coms in history. Modelled after Shakespeare’s play, The Taming of the Shrew, the movie follows a nerdy girl and a bad boy as they discover an unexpected romance.
