This summer, find the perfect swimsuit to spend your days in at the beach or pool. Whether its a classic one-piece, bikini or other varied style, here are some ideas to get you pumped and ready to get soaked!
 
Monokinis
Who says one-piece suits can’t be sexy? Monokinis put the edge in “one-piece”, varying from cutouts around the stomach and back areas to reveal the ultimate sophisticated, yet sexy look. Check out Victoria’s Secret for some great styles!

Bikini
This season, rock your bikini with bold, bright color prints. Bright colored suits will bring out the glow of your summer tan and make you hotter than the sun. Try a hot pink shade or neon green – you’ll really stand out!

Classic One-piece
Leave more to the imagination and stay covered up with a one-piece. Now you can show off your curves while still being comfortable enough to swim and be more active on the beach!

Bows 
This season, bows are all the rage. These little accents make your suit stand out while being cute and sexy at the same time! 

Bandeau
Want to avoid annoying tan-lines from bikini straps? Try a bandeau top and forever be free from strap tan lines.

Triangle Tops
If you’re looking for less coverage, triangle tops have the right cut. Trya top with ruffles – it adds to the triangle effect and looks great for a beachy trend.

Danielle is a sophomore at Connecticut College and is currently pursuing a double-major in International Relations and Middle Eastern Studies. Danielle began writing for the Connecticut College branch of Her Campus in the fall of 2011 and will continue to write this year as Editor and Campus Correspondent. Danielle has traveled all over the world and continues her love for other cultures and languages through her studies. Besides traveling, she loves to sing and dance - especially as a member of Miss Connduct, an all-female A capella group at Connecticut College. In general, Danielle loves sushi, goats, traveling, and Star Wars/Lord of the Rings. She is thrilled to be working with Her Campus this year!
