After a stressful week of finals, it’s time to ditch the books and celebrate the start of summer. Put your shades on, windows down and turn up the music! Here are some tunes to get you going this summer 2012.

Somebody That I Used To Call – THEREALBIGCHAZ
Well, it’s obvious that “Call Me Maybe” by Carly Rae Jespen and “Somebody That I Used To Know” by Gotye were two of the most adored hits this past year. Don’t even try to deny it, I know you were singin’ along whenever you had the chance. Anyway, now you can have them combined in this awesome mashup by DJ TheRealBigChaz. Throw a lil’ Chris Brown and Flo-Rida in there and you’re golden. Check it here: http://soundcloud.com/freshnewtracks/therealbigchaz-somebody-that-i

Still Getting Younger (Third Party Remix) – WYNTER GORDON
In light of her most recent, fantastic performance at the one, and only Connecticut College – I felt it was appropriate to include one of her most notable singles. I don’t know how anyone can listen to Wynter and not feel the immediate urge to dance. Her hit “Still Getting Younger” reminds us that even though another year has passed, don’t worry, we’re still getting younger..well, let’s hope: http://soundcloud.com/neonrecords/third-party-preview

Infinity – The xx
For those beautiful nights at the beach, campfires with friends, or simply watching the sun go down, here’s a perfect song to listen and relax to during the midst of your summer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JCBm5VbwJvY

YA BB – Play & Win
Ready to hit the club or beach? Let’s face it, we deserve to go a little wild this summer, in good, safe fun of course! Jam out to Play & Win and you’ll feel like you’re crusin’ along the beaches of Greece or exploring Romania..or some other cool European location for that matter: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8D4UMr3D9HE&ob=av3e

Beach House – Norway
Relaxing and peaceful, Norway knows how to truly captivate their fans by creating such beautiful music. Take a break from the hectic schedule of your summer, read a book and maybe catch some fireflies. We all need to take the time to slow down in life, at least every once in awhile: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ugO5aHra08

Ma Cherie – DJ Antoine
I’ve been dreaming a lot about France this year, so now you can dream with me by listening to this song. It’s fun and will certainly make you want to dance, and perhaps travel to good ol’ Paris sometime soon: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CKhu7pDjarY

Hang With Me (Avicii Club Mix) – Robyn
As a huge Robyn fan, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to share her great music with you. She truly knows how to live life to the fullest. I promise, after listening to her music you’ll be feeling great too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lyTB1rJUAqc

Little Bit – Lykke Li feat. Drake
A tropical-vibe, smooth voice, and Drake? Well, you can’t pass that up. Chill out and listen to this lovely jam: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IunhUfwHDOk&feature=fvst
