Spring is finally here and with summer just around the corner, it’s time to ditch out your summer dresses, shorts and sandals! Don’t forget to complete your ultimate springtime look with some of these lovely nail shades. These bright colors will be sure to reflect the fun this spring/summer will have to offer!

1) Coral
Perfect for white dresses and other light pink, blue or green attire, coral will add a huge pop to your nails as well as your outfit!

2) Yellow
Why not bring the sunshine to your hands with a bright yellow? Light yellows work great too, especially if you’re looking for a more subtle look. Otherwise, be bold..and yellow!

3) Pink
Hot pink or light pink? Regardless of choice, these cute colors will be sure to add life to any spring/summer outfit. 

4) Green
Shades of dark or light green have proven to be very lovely this season, especially with black or white accents.

5) Orange
One of the most popular shades this season, don’t be afraid to rep this bright color! It looks great matched with dark greens, blues and whites.

6) Grey/Silver
Prep a more sophisticated look with a classy silver style. Now you’ll be ready for those nights out downtown or at the club!

7) Purple
Ah yes, the classic purple. If you’re feeling a little less bold, purple will always be there for you to fall back on for a simple, yet chic look.

8) Teal
Dreaming of swimming in the ocean and basking on warm beaches? A beautiful teal color will have you ready to hit the beach and sporting your cutest bathing suits.

Danielle is a sophomore at Connecticut College and is currently pursuing a double-major in International Relations and Middle Eastern Studies. Danielle began writing for the Connecticut College branch of Her Campus in the fall of 2011 and will continue to write this year as Editor and Campus Correspondent. Danielle has traveled all over the world and continues her love for other cultures and languages through her studies. Besides traveling, she loves to sing and dance - especially as a member of Miss Connduct, an all-female A capella group at Connecticut College. In general, Danielle loves sushi, goats, traveling, and Star Wars/Lord of the Rings. She is thrilled to be working with Her Campus this year!
Katherine is a senior at Connecticut College majoring in European history and minoring in film studies. She spent her last semester abroad in Rome and loved it, and then interned this summer at Marie Claire magazine in New York City. Katherine is very excited to be joining the Her Campus team!
