If you’re looking for a lighthearted comedy to pull yourself out of the busy fall semester load or help cure your seasonal depression from the chilly New England weather, I really suggest you turn on You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah. Starring his real-life family, Adam Sandler’s new, lighthearted family comedy is sure to put a smile on your face. While watching, I loved the small but deep scenes that showed the reality and complexity of growing into a teenager, reminding me of what my middle school experience & drama was like, as well as the sweet family moments. After watching Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret as well, I feel like You Are So Not Invited was more memorable and exciting. You should definitely give it a watch!
