Best gift you gave and got!

I was pretty proud of the gift I made for my mom since I wanted to give her different books but with some sort of fun packaging and presentation. I thrifted four different books that were set around the summer, fall, winter, and spring, wrapped each in plain butcher paper and wrote “a read for the (season),” and then put those four wrapped books in a gift bag. I thought it was fun to try to find specific books that were specific to the four seasons and my mom was excited to have the new themed reads!

Many of my Christmas gifts for others were bought during my semester abroad and my family loved having a little piece of Scotland in our home. I especially enjoyed giving my grandparents Edinburgh, Scotland themed tea towels with detailed drawings of different parts of the city.

My most prized holiday gift was my dog, Chance. I got Chance for Christmas 4 years ago and he is the gift that keeps on giving. So basically it’s just a gift to be reminded of the day I met him when the holiday season comes around.

The gift I was most surprised by, and loved the most, was a pair of socks with my boyfriend’s dog, Bodhi on them. They have a bunch of mini Bodhi faces on them, and since my favorite hobby is showing people pictures of him, having his face on my socks makes it even easier!
