Drum roll please. This week’s Campus Cutie goes to Anders Nielsen, a senior whose humor and charming personality puts a smile on everyone’s face both on and off Conn College grounds. We mean this quite literally. Studying abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark last year, Anders made the Danes laugh out loud while performing stand-up comedy at local bars. At Conn, Anders keeps laughs coming with his hilarious N20 performances. But sorry ladies, this campus cutie is off the market.

Here’s what he had to say…

If you were stranded on an island, what three items could you not live without?
If I were stranded on an island, I would need a massive bed with like 8 pillows and blankets for the chilly nights, some kind of all terrain vehicle for putt-puttin’ around the island in, and probably some insulin because I literally couldn’t live without it.

If you could have one super power, what would it be?
If I could have one superpower, it would be echolocation ’cause then nighttime wouldn’t be no thang.

Who is your idol and why?
My idol is probably Kelly Clarkson, isn’t she the idol of all Americans?

What is your favorite movie?
My favorite movie is The Blues Brothers.

If you could be any celebrity, who would it be?
If I could be any celebrity I’d be Kim Kardashian so I could just lounge and get paid.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

If I could travel anywhere in the world I’d go to China so I could scamper around and see what’s what over there.

What are you involved in at Conn?
I’m involved with N2O Improv and SAC. I book the Friday Night shows on campus and some other random stuff.

Most embarrassing moment?
In high school, I ripped my pants twice in one day (two separate pairs of pants) both in front of a crowd.

How do you feel about being this week’s Campus Cutie?
I feel pretty cute about being this week’s campus cutie.
