It’s that time of the year again. The time to take a good, hard look at yourself and… quite frankly, judge yourself. While it may be more comforting to bask in the glory of past triumphs, the time has come where we have to, unfortunately, focus on former mishaps and blunders. Did I really dance on a table in Cro? Did I actually write ‘peeple’ instead of ‘people’ on my last exam? Did I seriously just waste three hours on ‘Betches Love This?’ Yes, you did… and yes, it’s time to make your New Year’s Resolutions. Side note: NYRs are more commonly referred to as broken promises. Be real, when was the last time your NYR made it past Valentine’s Day (#chocolate #desperate #singlegirlproblems). We didn’t think so. But, hey, they are fun to make and tend to make you feel good about yourself… well, at least for a couple of days.
With this said, we asked people around Conn their resolutions for the New Year. This is what we found…
.) “Get a job.”
.) “Stress out less about everything.”
.) “Four words: Late night Cro pizza.”
.) “Cut down my J.Crew bill.”
.) “To be more like Beyonce in every way shape and form.”
.) “Have the best second semester senior year ever.”
.) “To stop hashtagging in everyday conversation.”
.) “Gossip less.”
.) “Actually get work done in the library.”
.) “Boycott facebook.”
