The Summer We Remember: Ms. Monroe

Now that the first snow has finally hit the ground, let us reminisce on those sweltering hot days of the summer that we’re all surely missing by now. 

I remember wearing very little to nothing the day I took this picture of the Forever Marilyn sculpture on Michigan Ave. Even Ms. Monroe here was showing a little skin then. 

Well, we always have next summer to look forward to at least. But for now, R.I.P. Summer 2011. You will be missed.

Mariah Craddick hails from the city of Atlanta and is currently a magazine journalism major at Columbia College of Chicago. Though she has a wide range of interests, her concentration and focus lies in fashion, art and entertainment.
