For me, this quarantine has been a chance to listen to more music now that I have all the time to do so. I’ve been making more playlists on Spotify, @niattipton (shameless plug), filled with new artists and new albums. I’ve managed to curate a list for all of you guys consisting of some current songs/albums that I have been jamming to for the past month!

Ugh, those feels again by Snoh Aalegra

The sophomore album by Aalegra; it’s filled with nostalgia and heartbreak. The perfect songs to croon along to in the shower.

comme des garçons (like the boys) by Isaac Dunbar

This is a single from his recently released album, isaac’s insects. The tune is infectious, the beat becoming catchy within the first twenty seconds of the song.

Dear April by Frank Ocean

I couldn’t not include this song on the list. Anyway, just go listen to it because no words would be able to describe it.

Vitamin D by drumaq

This mixtape has been out since September of last year, and I cannot go a day without listening to it. If that doesn’t prove how much I love it, I don’t know what will.

Fly Me To The Moon (In Other Words) by Bobby Womack

Probably the oldest song on this list, though the feel good words are anything but. I first heard this song in HBO’s show “Euphoria” and immediately fell in love with it.

Picture Perfect by UMI

One of my favorite artists of all time. Her music has the power to heal, which I think we all need a little bit of in times like this.
