Who says Chicago isn’t a “fashion capital” of its own?

With sites like Garmental.com, an online fashion resource featuring local boutiques, the trendiest styles and all of the latest local fashion news and events–it’s difficult to think of Chicago fashion as being “conservative” or “drab” like it can sometimes be described.

And now, Suzanne Kopulos, the site’s co-founder and style director, has created an opportunity for college students to have their style seen and their voices heard.

Garmental is now launching their “Garmental U Style Rep” program in order to “give a voice and platform for style-minded students to express their insight,” according to Suzanne.

Students will be selected as “Style Representatives” for different campuses around the city and will be looked to as the experts of Chicago’s fashion scene.

“We’re looking for students that live to get dressed every morning! Trend-watchers and trend-setters rearing to share their unique perspectives and influence,” she says.

This position will indeed be beneficial for any student interested in a career in the media and/or fashion industries.

Responsibilities for a “Garmental U Stye Rep” would include:

  • Blog Posts
  • Street Style Campus Photos
  • Campus Style Trend Reports
  • Campus Fashion Polls
  • Maintaining a GarmentalU Social Media Profile
  • … and much more!

Those interested should visit http://www.garmental.com/garmentalu/style_rep/ to apply for this amazing internship opportunity!
