A few interesting things you’d like to share about yourself: I married the love of my life in a private ceremony on July 24, 2010, and together we are planning our upcoming reception for friends and family. I have a 10-year-old stepdaughter named Claudia. I left a successful career in sales management to come to college at Columbia and pursue a career in journalism. I am a cancer survivor.
Zodiac sign: Scorpio

Biggest pet peeve: When people walk on the left side of the sidewalk. We drive on the right side of the road in the U.S., thus I think it is only fair we should have to walk on the right side of the sidewalk.
Favorite song(s) at the moment: “Livin’ on a Prayer” by Bon Jovi, “All Summer Long” by Kid Rock, “Your Embrace” by Shakira and “Underneath Your Clothes” by Shakira
Favorite place(s) to shop: Macy’s (I’m lame), Crate and Barrel, Ann Taylor and Michaels (I’m a closet crafter)
What you like/don’t like about attending Columbia: I think in general we are a very understanding and compassionate student body. Many of us were misfits in high school, but Columbia gives us the opportunity to be true to ourselves and be accepted by fellow classmates.
