One of the best parts about New York are the numerous concerts going on at any given time. Whether you’re into low-key lo-fi beats or large stadium shows, there’s literally something for everyone (and for every budget!). Check your concert fund, and map out those long treks to Brooklyn- here are five shows to keep an eye out this Spring 2019:

1. Vince Staples, Hammerstein Ballroom, ($40-$60)

February 21st

Vince is back, and as someone who has seen him twice live, I can promise he won’t disappoint. With his emphatic rhymes, energetic presence, and stage design expressing poignant messaging, let Vince bring a little California into your week and put a Smile! on your face.

2. James Blake, Terminal 5 (tickets are currently SOLD OUT, ~$79-$100 on StubHub)

February 24th to 25th

Indie’s favorite British sadboi is back with some electronic melodies that may have you crying in the club. His newest album, Assume Form, has a ton of great features, so who knows what the live show will bring!

3. Sir Babygirl, Baby’s All Right, $10-$12

March 8th

Your newest queer crush is going to bring it at one of the most fun venues in the city. Heels may be optional, but definitely bring your dancing shoes.

4. Earl Sweatshirt featuring BbyMutha, Na-Kel Smtih, Liv.E, Mike and Black Noise, Irving Plaza (Presale begins January 31st)

March 30th

“Earl Sweatshirt” may not exist, but Thebe is finally back! With an incredible line-up, get ready to be fired up for the FIRE IT UP! tour.

5. Lizzo, starting at $45 on SeatGeek

May 12th

End the year with a bang with our fun n’ flirty fave behind “Boys.” With a new album on the horizon, you won’t want to miss Lizzo.
