While I do try to escape this moment of midterm craziness via Facebook, Her Campus, Gilt Group, and other websites, I have come to realize that this method alone will just not suffice.
In order to get through the high-intensity fall academic climate, I have found a real need for my “comfort jams.” Just like my favorite pint of Ben & Jerry’s ice-cream(“Phish Food” if you were wondering), this song helps me get through rough times.
Perhaps it is surprising that, “Boys With Girlfriends” is my song of choice since it isn’t inspirational nor in any way linked to perseverance. However, there is something so melodic about this song and I’m drawn in every time.
