She’s the First – Charity Run

Come out and run for girls’ education!

On Sunday, April 23rd, Columbia University’s Road Runner Club and She’s the First Barnard will be hosting a 5k charity run/walk in Riverside Park. The benefits will go to She’s the First, an organization dedicated to providing scholarships, mentorship, and empowerment to girls in low-income countries who will be the first in their families to graduate high school. Barnard College’s scholar is fourth grade student Chandani, from Nepal.

Tickets are $20, and all participants will receive a T-shirt, breakfast, and a goodie bag of treats. Additionally, the first 200 people to register will get a free soul-cycle pass. Winners will receive gift cards and a series of classes at exercise studios across the city.
