As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? As a child, I always thought I would become a doctor. I was a gifted student, especially in science and math, and I wanted a profession in which I could help those less fortunate…and of course, every Indian kid has parents who want him to become a doctor.Â
Best pick-up line you’ve heard (or used): I hardly ever use pick up lines but the two that were interesting enough to work: 1) “Do you have a picture of me in your pocket? Because I can see myself in your pants!” 2) “Do you want to come back to my room, I have snacks.”
Best class you’ve taken thus far at Columbia: Latin American Literature in Translation with Alfred MacAdam. Great professor, great readings, and take home exams.Â
Celebrity crush: Mischa BartonÂ
Favorite type of food? “All-American” – nothing beats a class cheeseburger and apple pie!Â
Guilty pleasure: Chocolate, in all varieties except dark.Â
Thing you’re most looking forward to about the summer: The free time to exercise. I have always enjoyed long distance running, but with my busy schedule I haven’t had much time to exercise and work out in the past semesters.Â
Most important feature of a girl: Definitely her sense of humor and smile. Anyone who knows me well knows that I am usually always a happy and jolly person, who always cracks jokes, so I enjoy spending time with someone who is not afraid to be silly and have a good time.Â
Your current jam: “Night of My Life” by DJ Pauly D (don’t hate)
Greatest fear: Heights, even riding a Ferris Wheel makes me nervous!!
