Year: Senior
Â
Major: Statistics and Sociology double
Â
Relationship Status: Single
Â
On Campus Activities: RA, Peer Educator for Men’s Peer Education, board member of the Developer’s Club– the hacker club on campus, photographer for various publications and clubs, research assistant for a sociology professor, and I try to go to as many cool lectures and panels as possible around campus
Â
Off Campus Activities: I really like Meetup groups– mostly statistics ones, but my favorite is called urbanSPACESHIP, which is focused on urban design (y’all should check it out!), I do some freelance photography, occasionally ride my bike, and I have gone to a bunch of Occupy stuff.
Two things on your bucket list: ride across the country, cover a major international (or domestic) conflict as a photographerÂ
Â
Describe your personality in three words: compulsive, curious, critical (not as in I’m critical of others, but as in relating to critical theory)
Â
Describe your ideal date: We go to a trendy coffeeshop or a super casual sit down lunch and talk about what we’re passionate about–even if there’s little or no intersection in those sets!

Most embarassing thing that has ever happened in front of a girl:I don’t know about ever, but in recent memory, I was leaving class in Hamilton and running late to my next class, and instead of waiting for people to go down the stairs to the doors to the door level, I decided to go down the little ramp on the right as you’re leaving the building. Â It was wet and I slid down on my heels (inadvertently)Â and my weight shifted backward, when I hit the bottom, I was still sliding and took took 3 or 4 running strides on what really seemed like a frictionless plane. Â Instead of slowing my momentum, my flailing just spun me 360 degrees around and I fell on my side directly in front of a cute girl in my class. I was ok, my hip felt fine after the next day, but my pride is still bruised.
Â
Favorite place to travel: Rockaway Beach- over the summer, I go there with my friends just about every weekend! (an hour and a half subway ride is far enough to count as travel!)
Â
Favorite thing to do on a rainy day: Seeing how long I can stay in NoCo without leaving.
Celebrity Crush: Hannah ArendtÂ
Â
Most romantic place on campus: Low steps on a warm, early fall evening (though I wish the fireflies ventured up from Riverside Park to campus, that would be just fantastic!) Â
Â
Song that most describes how you’re feeling in this moment: Regina Spektor’s “The Ghost of Corporate Futures”Â
