How has being a member of Her Campus impacted your college career: I’ve been a member of Her Campus since the beginning of my freshman year, and I have become a much more confident writer as a result of this. The team is also so supportive, and I’ve gained amazing friendships from this organization.

How has being a member of Her Campus impacted your college career: Considering I interned at HCHQ in Boston last summer, continued to work in journalism this summer, went on a trip to Cuba with HC members from other schools, and have met some of my favorite people here, I’d say HC has impacted me a lot in the best way possible. How has being a member of Her Campus impacted your college career: Being a member of Her Campus has impacted my college career by giving me a space to write a wide range of articles on things that interest me, read the amazing works of the other members, and make lasting friendships. Her Campus was the first on-campus organization that I joined my freshman year and so it was my first opportunity to grow as a writer and make friends outside of classes. Since then, I’ve made amazing friends, become a better writer, and branched out within the club.

How has being a member of Her Campus impacted your college career: Her Campus has given me an outlet to write all my thoughts, even though most of them should not be shared. I am able to go from politics to television to a stolen bottle of cleanser and that is 100 percent okay. However, most of all, Her Campus has provided me with a community of ambitious, kind, and amazing women who support one another which I could get nowhere else.

How has being a member of Her Campus impacted your college career: I love Her Campus with all of my heart! I joined my junior year, but it feels like I have been a member of the team for years because of how close we have all become. When I started college, I wanted my involvements to be more than just an hour or two of my week. I wanted to form meaningful relationships and develop myself as a writer and leader. HCCB has allowed me to do all of those things, and has quickly become one of the most valuable aspects of my college experience.
