By now, many of us are getting bored of staying cooped up in our homes every day. But don’t worry — if you want to escape the monotony of quarantine living and go on a luxurious adventure, well, you’re in luck. You can simply open up Netflix and watch Selling Sunset. It is a reality show documenting the personal and professional lives of the realtors of the Oppenheim Group, one of Hollywood’s premier real estate brokerages. The show offers all the drama, excitement, and glamour you could ever dream of.

Here are just a few reasons why you need to watch this show, like, right now:

The location

Selling Sunset is set in sunny, inviting Los Angeles, California, specifically in the Sunset Strip and Hollywood Hills neighborhoods. Think ocean waves, palm trees, 24/7 sunshine, and more. With all of us stuck bored at home right now, it’s the perfect place to virtually escape to.

The houses

If you’re into real estate or interior design at all, you’ll be captivated by the properties shown on Selling Sunset, with their grand yards, open floor plans, pools, chandeliers, and marble countertops. Through each episode, you can learn about staging, showing homes, as well as the ins and outs of the elite real estate world.

The people

Unlike real estate shows you might find on HGTV, Selling Sunset is not only about homes but also about people. In this case, “all of the kick-ass women that make [the] brokerage what it is,” according to Jason Oppenheim himself. You’ll learn to love this strong-willed, sassy group of women as they navigate real estate life.

The glitz and glamour

This show is truly all about luxury. Think sports cars, private jets, champagne, designer brands, and more. While you’re stuck at home, live vicariously through the glitz and glam of elaborately planned weddings, brunches, and dinner parties.

The drama

In true reality show fashion, the real appeal of Selling Sunset is, of course, the drama. Whether that be new cast members, divorces, weddings, breakups, or fights, there’s always something going down at the Oppenheim Group.

So, what are you waiting for? You’ve been through a lot this year. So give yourself a treat, and go watch Selling Sunset. You have three whole seasons ahead of you.
