SAM FLOOD

Hometown: Montclair, NJ

Major: Political Science and Geography

What you’re involved in on campus: SGA, SOMAC, Residential Life, Student Conduct Board, Shock Dance Troupe, University Advisory Committee on Campus Safety

Guilty pleasure: The History Channel

Role model: Cory Booker

Favorite food/place to eat in Hamilton:  Thai and Mexican Food

Dream Job: President of SGA

Fun Fact: Took 8 Classes Spring Semester of 2012. 5 at Colgate and 3 at another college.

Favorite Quote: “Imagination is more important than knowledge” -Albert Einstein

If you could take three things on a desert island, what would they be?: The Merchant of Venice, a pen, and a notebook.

If you were president of the USA and moved into the white house, what would be the first thing you would do? Nationalize Healthcare.

Final thoughts?  I wish everyone at Colgate a great semester. I really enjoyed being back on campus this past weekend. 

 

MATT HALEY

Hometown: Rochester NY

Major: Cellular Neuroscience

What you’re involved in on campus: Sigma Chi – President, Club Volleyball, SGA – Speaker of Senate, Vice President

Guilty pleasure: Listening to Justin Timberlake’s new album ‘The 20/20 Experience’ non-stop since it has debuted.

Role model: Derek Jeter

Favorite food/place to eat in Hamilton: Eh, we need a place that serves garbage plates (look it up, Rochester cuisine)

Dream Job: Doctor

Fun Fact: I was accepted early to University of Rochester Medical School

Favorite Quote: Do what others won’t today so you can do what others can’t tomorrow.
