Just when you thought he found love and was leaving our national television stations—the reality tv star is back on ABC under the guise of DANCE! Nick Viall hits the dancefloor of ABC’s celebrity dance competition, Dancing with the Stars, with professional partner Peta Murgatroyd.
This news hit our reality junkie ears via Instagram when Nick posted a photo with new bae Vanessa Grimaldi candidly walking from his live performance on Monday night—with Peta and husband in tow. An intentional group date?

Regardless, we watched alongside Vanessa in the stands. And. Our. Jaws. Dropped. Remember that Backstreet Boys group date—clearly the girls weren’t the only ones who benefitted from that choreography lesson.
While Judge Julianne Hough was critical of Nick’s “pancake” feet—she told him she knows he doesn’t quit (she included a subtle wink) so persevere and come back next week having applied the corrections. Bruno called him a “pop idol” with “vulture’s claws”—and we’re still trying to figure that out. Even Len Goodman told the duo it was a good start to the competition season.
