Hottest Celeb NYC Fashion Week Trends

After the recent heat wave in Hamilton, NY, I could not be more excited to swap rompers and sundresses for chunky sweaters and ankle boots. Many of you are asking about the latest fashion crazes this fall, so I have compiled a list of my favorite looks. Some of these trends gained momentum in Fall/Winter 2018 collections, and the recent debut of Spring/Summer 2019 collections proves that these trends are expected to be hotter than ever in the upcoming months.

Western Boots

I am going to start things off with one of my all-time favorite looks, because it happens to be one of the hottest trends at the moment…Western-inspired boots! Western boots are dominating runways and street styles everywhere. Zimmermann, Longchamp, Calvin Klein, and Maison Margiela are some of the designers that are obsessed with this trend. Fashion influencer Aimee Song flaunted eye-catching Ariat cowboy boots at Harper’s Bazaar Icon Party at NYFW last week. Song balanced her look with a silk Monse shirt and a turquoise Louis Vuitton bag. Kendall Jenner recently stunned onlookers in a pair of white R13 western boots. Jenner combined the western trend with the glamorous white boots trend. The supermodel proved that the right shoes can make any outfit – even an oversized sweatshirt and bike shorts – look amazing.

Animal Print

Animal print is all over FW18 and SS19 collections, especially leopard and zebra prints. Rosie Huntington Whiteley recently wore a leopard coat to spice up her NYFW street style, and Cardi B sported bold leopard print pants to the Jeremy Scott SS19 runway show. These women prove that animal prints can add both sophistication and sass to any outfit. A few of designers obsessed with animal print right now are Ralph Lauren, Victoria Beckham, Diane Von Furtsenberg, Caroline Herrera, and Tom Ford.

Sleek Suits

The power suit is the perfect combination of sleek and trendy. Hailee Steinfield rocked a plunging tailored number to the Tom Ford SS19 show. Hailey Baldwin added a fun twist to the sophisticated look with a pink suit at the Caroline Herrera Spring/Summer 2019 show. Colorful Tights

Who doesn’t love a trend that is both comfortable and fashionable? Colorful tights are an effortless way to put a trendy spin on the pile of cozy sweaters in your closet. In fact, Kendall Jenner paired colorful tights with a chunky oversized sweater to NYFW last week. Keep in mind that Jenner wore this outfit on a 90°F day in New York City, so the trend must be that hot.

Showstopping Shearling

Shearling jackets are a must-have piece this season. Not only are the jackets incredibly cozy and soft, but they also glam up any outfit. Victoria Secret Model Sara Sampaio made the streets of New York City her personal runway in a black shearling aviator jacket last week. Burberry even reissued their shearling aviator jacket from 2010 (!!!) in their Fall/Winter 2018 collection.
