Co-founder Luke Langon is a UC Berkeley graduate and worked at Yahoo! for two years before launching the app. Luke realized something that we can all relate to, the fact that “most people don’t go a day without noticing something they like from somebody else’s style. We all want to stay up to date on the personal style trends within our network of friends and other trendsetters.” Picture yourself on campus admiring your classmates’ style. Maybe you love what you put on and want to share it with your friends. Maybe you’re looking for style inspiration before going to class. Whatever the case may be, Luke points out that “trends are ever changing and there wasn’t yet a great outlet for people to share and look for personal style inspiration live time every day”. Thus, Trendster was born and does just that. “We’re growing a fun community that loves this type of DIY fashion photography”.
