SERENGETEE: pronounced SAHR-EN-GET-E: The newest and coolest way to give back and make a difference is all in the unique pocket tee clothing brand. Recently Caitie Barrett’14(on the right) and I have been selected as campus representatives for Serengetee at Colgate. We are working with different organizations on campus to promote the brand and so Colgate students can start wearing the world! Soon we will start posting discount codes, letting you know about awesome promotions, giving away some cool freebies. Here’s a little bit about the company to get you all psyched for some Serengetee on campus!
The company began when three college students were studying abroad. In their travels they met people from all over the world and found beauty in the local communities they visited. Upon their return, they realized the positive impact a new type of clothing brand could make for people all around the world. Every fabric pattern on your pocket tee or shorts is connected with a cause located in its originating community. There are currently 32 causes connected with Serengetee around the globe, so as you rock your Serengetee, you are giving back to the communities that inspired your clothing. Wearing Serengetee doesn’t just look cool; it feels amazing because you know that a percentage of your purchase went towards the betterment of a community worlds apart from you.
