It’s officially spooky season with Halloween right around the corner. Although Halloween is going to look different this year, it is still fun to plan a costume and dress up with friends. I comprised a list of 5 Halloween costumes I have seen that always look amazing and require minimal work!

1. Candy Bars

A very on brand for Halloween costume, candy bars are a great individual or group costume. Each friend can be a different candy to make a pack or you could be your favorite candy on your own! These costumes can be DIY or can be easily found on Amazon, Party City, or another retail store.

2. Average Joes from Dodge Ball

A personal favorite, Dodge Ball is a classic movie and costume. It is simple, easy, and gets a lot of laughs. Also, who doesn’t love a good excuse to dress up and play dodge ball with friends!

3. Superheroes

One go-to costume that has tons of options and easy to find are superheroes. You can do this individually and pick your favorite or dress up with friends and have a pack! It is definitely a costume you can never go wrong with.

4. TV Show Characters

TV show characters can get very creative if you want it to be. Pick your favorite TV show and your favorite character and wear one of their most iconic outfits! Some examples of good TV shows to recreate are The Office, Friends, How I Met Your Mother, and many more.

5. Joe Exotic and Carol Baskin

At this point, Joe Exotic and Carol Baskin seem to be household names. Along with Banana Bread, Tie Dye, and Tik Tok, the show Tiger King was a popular theme in quarantine. Joe Exotic and Carol Baskin would make a great costume to do with a friend or another person and you would definitely get recognized!
