Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is not only a Representative for New Yorks’ 14th congressional district, but she’s also a Twitter queen. Here are three times that AOC’s tweets blew us away:

1. When she responded to Ariana Grande

In October, Ariana Grande asked twitter, “baby how u feeling.” And in response, Bernie Sanders and AOC opened a political forum. Sanders responded, “Ready to fight for Medicare for All,” (https://twitter.com/BernieSanders/status/1187805239723859968). And AOC quote-tweeted him, turning Ariana’s hit titles into progressive policies. She assigned “Break Free” to student loan debt forgiveness and “Be Alright” to passing a Green New Deal. Just another reason to love AOC.

2. When she called out Mitch CcConnell

In August, AOC called out Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnel after a photo surfaced showing a group of young, white men wearing “Team Mitch” T-shirts while kissing and choking a cardboard cut out of of the congresswoman. AOC responded: “Just wanted to clarify: are you paying for young men to practice groping & choking members of Congress w/ your payroll?” Set him straight, AOC.

3. When she DANCED for her followers

In July, critics shared footage of AOC dancing in her college years. An “Anonymous” account on Twitter posted a video of her dancing in a Boston University T-shirt, calling her a “clueless nitwit.” AOC, of course, didn’t seem fazed. She responded by posting a video of herself dancing in her professional clothing, writing, “have a great weekend everyone :).”

There you have it: three extra reasons to admire AOC. Now stop scrolling through Twitter, and get out there and vote!
