Over slept your alarm? In a rush? Is your only option sweatpants? Think again! If you have 10 minutes that’s plenty of time to look your best. Many times I find myself hitting “snooze” until the very last minute, if you find yourself doing this too don’t fret. Here are some tips to getting reading quickly.

Things you will need:

  1. Facial Spray (I suggest Fresh Rose Marigold Floral Water Facial Spray $35, but Evian spray will do)
  2. A Big Hair Clip (I suggest a clip with rubber to hold hair better, you can find at CVS)
  3. Mascara (I find that CVS’s brands such as Great Lash actually work the best)
  4. A Scarf
  5. Lip Balm (I suggest Burt’s Bees in Hibiscus)
  6. Granola Bar
  7. Slip on shoes
  8. Disposable Toothbrush (I suggest Colgate Wisps, which can be found at CVS)
  9. Gum

Ok, so now you have everything you’ll need. Remember, don’t panic, or before you know it you’ll be down to 6 minutes. Get into action pronto!

Step 1: Dressing – Throw on your favorite jeans, an oversized sweater, slip on some flats, and you’re dressed (5 minutes)
Step 2: Hair – Wrap your hair into a bun in the back center of your head and secure with big clip.  (1 minute)
Step 3: Face – Spritz your face 3 times with your favorite facial spray to make your skin glow. (30 seconds)
Step 4: Make-up – Brush on Mascara.  (30 seconds)
Step 5: Teeth – Scrub your teeth with a disposable (1 minute)
Step 6: Accessorize – Wrap a scarf around your neck (30 seconds)
Step 7: Get Going – Grab your book bag, a granola bar, gum, lip balm, and get out of there! (1 minute 30 seconds)

You’re done getting ready! Now walk to class and get these last 3 things done!

Step 8: Lips – Swipe on some lip balm as you walk
Step 9: Food – Munch on your granola bar on your way to class, you know you wont be able to concentrate on an empty stomach.
Step 10: Mouth – Pop some gum in your mouth, you know, just in case.

So there you have it. Getting ready in 10 minutes, don’t even need to leave your room, well, until it’s time for class. Don’t think you can make it in 10 minutes? Here are some tips for being prepared:

  • Lay your clothes out the night before
  • Set your alarm earlier than you need it
  • Make breakfast plans
  • Take a shower the night before
  • Get your work done during the day so you can get to sleep early
  • Be organized and clea

Let us know what you think? Is it possible to do this in 10 minutes? How do you get ready quickly? Try it and let us know!!
