HC Colby loves spring and all it has to offer. Here are some of our current favorite trends and obsessions for this spring, straight from the girls of Her Campus Colby.
Pastel Nails – Colors like Essie’s French Affair and Mint Candy Apple are the epitome of spring and we just can’t get enough.
Summery Kicks – Sneakers like Keds and TOMS are super comfortable and casual, but best of all, they’re adorable. And springtime is the best time to wear them everywhere you go.
Casual Walks – When the sun is out and the weather is nice, there’s nothing better than a walk around campus. Seeing everybody out and about is what really makes it feel like spring.
Preppy Sweaters – The temperature is still back and forth, so pairing a cute, preppy sweater with shorts is a classic look that always works. HCC tip: the girls recommend getting a guy’s size x-small because they often have better color choices!
Great Movies – Something Borrowed, Water for Elephants, Bridemaids…There are a ton of great-looking movies coming out within the next few weeks. Take yourself on a nice spring date or head out for a girls night, then treat yourself to another warm-weather must…ice cream!
Espadrilles – The fashion world’s most comfortable heels! Invest in a great, neutral or a fun, stand-out pair, either way, they’ll be a great summer staple.
