Five Things That Should Be on Your Fall Bucket List

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Colby chapter.

I don’t know about you, but one of the reasons I choose to go to school in New England is because of how beautiful the Falls are here! The leaves are changing, Starbucks (and the spa) is serving Pumpkin Spice, and our campus is looking absolutely beautiful right now! Here are five things you need to do before winter arrives.

Go Apple & Pumpkin Picking. Apples and pumpkins are currently in-season, meaning it’s a perfect time to go apple and/or pumpkin picking with friends.

Indulge in a Fall Drink. You know it’s Fall when Starbucks brings back Pumpkin Spice! Treat yourself!

Go into the Arboretum. Soon all of the pretty leaves will be gone, and instead snow will cover the trees and the ground! Going for a walk or run in the arboretum is a perfect way to stay fit (soon you will have to trudge through the snow to get to the Athletic Center), and also appreciate the beauty of Fall!

Appreciate the view. We are truly blessed to be on Mayflower Hill because of this stunning view!

Prepare for the Winter. Unfortunately, Fall won’t last forever. Don’t wait until it starts to snow to locate your winter boots and jacket!
