Whenever I’m bored, stressed out or dead-set on avoiding all schoolwork, a short trip to Buzzfeed always manages to distract me from whatever else I have going on. Whether it’s photos of 27 cats acting like humans or an article with pictures of 10 people who are definitely having a worse day than me, the bizarre topics are a great distraction. Recently, I’ve gotten very into taking the website’s signature quizzes, which answer crucial life questions such as “Which Obscure Harry Potter Character Are You?” or “What Type of Cookie Are You?”
Through a series of sometimes relevant, sometimes random questions, Buzzfeed generates a response that somehow illuminates some hidden part of my personality. By me picking an animal in a sweater and answering how many tabs I had open on the computer, I learned that, deep within, I am a peanut butter cookie (and also got a cookie recipe).
