539 days. That is all there is left until The United States of America could have its first female president.
The 2020 presidential election has an unprecedented number of women running. Tulsi Gabbard, Kirsten Gillibrand, Kamala Harris, Amy Klobuchar, Elizabeth Warren, and Marianne Williamson make six notable female candidates for the upcoming election. While the contenders are still highly skewed to the male side, this is a record-breaking number of female candidates and represents the slow opening of the political world to females. I would like to use the rest of this post to introduce these women and bring more light to their candidacies.
