Britney Spears’ Six Best Music Videos

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Colby chapter.

We all know that Britney Spears is beyond awesome, but I’m here to remind you exactly why. These videos are iconic and though Britney’s fame (with her sanity) has come and gone and come back again her talent will forever remain through her music videos. I encourage this walk down memory lane wholeheartedly.

1. Oops I Did It Again

Not only is this song a classic Britney jam, but in the video she rocks a red-leather bodysuit while perfectly executing a dance routine and making an extremely hunky astronaut fall in love with her. The girl can certainly multi-task, and I suggest taking notes Collegiettes.

2. Circus

If all circus ringleaders were like Britney Spears more people would go much more often. The lyrics ring true; this song makes us all feel the adrenaline move through our veins.

3. Sometimes

This music video shows off Britney’s acting talents by delving deeper into the emotional side of the star. She’s dancing one minute and looking casual in a baseball cap on the beach the next. Total girl next door moment.

4. (You Drive Me) Crazy

This music video is a classic melting pot of 90sness featuring Adrian Grenier and Melissa Joan Hart dancing in a mad scientist lab/factory. Who knew that Sabrina the Teenage Witch knew Vincent Chase?

5. Baby One More Time

Perhaps the most recognizable of Britney’s videos simply because of the costume choice, schoolgirl Britney will forever be remembered. We all must confess, this video makes us still believe in the power of the princess of pop.

6. Gimme More

Double the Britney, double the fun. Girl, we see you (both blond and brunette), and we just want to dance with you, though we will leave the pole-work to you.

Britney, it’s now been proven: we all want a piece of you. You ARE stronger than you were yesterday, and we are lucky to have these videos to watch over and over and over again so our loneliness won’t kill us no more.
