4 Ways to Fall in Love With Fall at Colby

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Colby chapter.

1. The Art Museum

The new Alfond-Lunder wing of the museum has officially opened and it is amazing! Whether you like art or not, the museum holds world-renown works that are right here on campus. Take an hour or an afternoon to relax and take a break from the hectic Colby life to wander through the galleries. You won’t be disappointed.

3. Apple Picking

A fall in Maine is scenic to say the least. Here in Waterville, we are lucky to have not only a picturesque view of the changing leaves, but also a great orchard right down the street. Get outside and experience fall in Maine by spending the afternoon picking apples! It’s not expensive at all and the apples you pick make great dorm room snacks!

4. Football games

Now that the NFL season has begun it’s time to prepare for Mule Football season! September 21st marks our home opening game against Williams, so get ready to put on your Colby blue and join the Mule Mob to cheer for our beloved Mules.

5. GROUPLOVE

Known for their song Tongue Tied that was featured on an iPod touch commercial in 2011 and was sung on the show Glee, GROUPLOVE is coming to Waterville on November 16th as the headliners for The Campus Consciousness Tour! Get your tickets soon because this is a show that you won’t want to miss.
