I am a firm believer that cats and dogs can coexist happily. I am also a firm believer that while dogs are cute, cats are far superior in every way.

Cats, on average, have 300 million neurons while dogs, in comparison, have about half the amount. They are one of the most intelligent animals in the entire kingdom. They have object permanence! Small humans don’t even have object permanence. Cats have memories that can last up to 10 years. My cat is a genius. Oh, you say you don’t care about intelligence in cats? You think animals should just be cute? Well you must be an idiot. Jk, but cats are cute too!

Cats are just as compassionate and caring as dogs, they just take longer to show it. They’re vulnerable and smart. They don’t let themselves fall in love too fast because then they could get hurt. Cats. I’m talking about cats. Anyway, my cat Cinnamon is a fierce angel butterfly huntress queen. Whenever I’m in pain, emotional and physical, she knows and comes by to comfort me. My other cat, who has since passed, would do the same. Every time I was sick, he would come and lay by me. When he became sick, Cinnamon comforted me. After he passed, she became depressed and had to be by a person at all times. She meowed for her brother for a few months and still to this day becomes deeply attached to people around her. They care! I love cats!
I love all animals, I really do. But I love cats a lot, mostly because they are so underrated. It’s unfair that dogs get more attention just because they’re more outgoing, sociable and attractive. Cats deserve love, too. Cats. I’m talking about cats.
