Finding vegan options on campus (especially when you don’t have a meal plan) may seem difficult, but with the right amount of patience and investigation, you’ll soon find there is a variety of deliciously vegan hidden gems available to you! I’ve been attending CNU for about a year now and have had plenty of time to investigate, so it’s high time I’ve written this article for all my fellow non-meal plan vegans on campus. Here’s a comprehensive list of vegan goodies I’ve found around campus within the past year. I hope you find it useful!

Einsteins:

Almost all the beverages at Steins can easily be made vegan by replacing the milk with either soy, coconut, or almond milk and holding the whipped cream. So, for Steins I’m going to list the things that cannot be made vegan, since it’s a much shorter list:

White chocolate mocha

Milky Way Latte

Chai Tea Latte (just the original chai tea latte isn’t vegan, the Teavana brewed chai tea is.)

Hot Chocolate

Any Steins Milkshakes

Syrups – pumpkin spice, white mocha, and caramel brulee

Note: The only vegan foods at Steins are the plain bagel, peanut butter & jelly spreads, pita bread & hummus, grape cup, apple, cucumbers & hummus, and select chips.

*My personal favorite beverage to order at Steins is the Soy Hazelnut Latte! *
