This time of year it seems as though the weather can’t make up its mind on the Peninsula. One day there is snow falling and freezing winds, and the next it is suddenly 75 degrees and people everywhere are emerging and suddenly everyone you know is a runner (for a day). If the beautiful weather puts you in the running mood, run (or jog or walk – no one is judging) down to the Lion’s Gate Bridge. From CNU, the path takes you past the Mariner’s Museum and through wooded areas, ending at the edge of the James River. It’s the perfect “I just ran a mile” treat with a scenic view and a refreshing breeze.
