Hello everyone, I hope you are surviving. Finals week is here and the schedule is ugly. It is my last time taking finals as an undergrad, so that makes finals week a little better. As I have been through eight finals seasons, I thought I would share how to get through finals, tips and tricks I have learned over my four years. Here you go.

Do not start making materials or studying the week of

If finals are at the end of April, start thinking about them at the beginning of April. That last month of class goes by quick and you don’t want to get hit in the face with finals beginning next week. I would recommend making study material for everything you have learned up to April. For me, I already have my quizlets and little quick study sheets done and am just reviewing.

Find something to look forward to

Depending on the schedule and the class, finals week can be awful. To make it a little easier, find something to look forward to. Whether that be chilling with roommates, going out for a drink after, etc. Have something to look forward to each day during finals week.

Take Care of Yourself

Super important, if you are not taking care of yourself then you won’t be at your best on test day. Take a shower, sleep, eat, chill, you have to keep your sanity or all the studying will be for nothing.

Whatever happen will happen

At the end of it all, whatever’s going to happen is going to happen. I have come out of tests nervous thinking I didn’t do well. Sometimes I did really well and surprised myself. Other times I was right to be nervous, but as long as you pass everything will be ok. Have faith in yourself.

That’s all from me, it’s been great. Thanks for reading!
