Hello, welcome to part two of the Fall Recipes Series. This recipe might be my favorite dessert of the whole fall season. It’s so delicious, warm, and cozy. This dessert makes you want to put the cozy socks on, get a blanket, and watch Law N Order: SVU. This is not my personal recipe; this is my dad’s, so shout-out to my dad for having such a bomb dessert. With that, I introduce to you Fall Recipes: Peach Cobbler.

Peach Cobbler

Ingredients

3 cans of sliced peaches with heavy syrup

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp nutmeg

1 tsp cinnamon

1 1/2 cups sugar

3 refrigerated pie crusts

Directions

1. Combine peaches (syrup and all), vanilla, nutmeg, cinnamon, sugar in medium pot till it boils. Stir constantly because otherwise the sugar will stick to the bottom of the pot.

2. Taste the syrup concoction for desired sweetness.

3. Spray pan with pam.

4. In 12×8 pan, lay one crust on the bottom and pour 1/2 of peach mixture on crust.

5. Cook at 350 degrees for 45 minutes till crust is done. It should be a golden brown.

Tips

Pair this with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for the ultimate treat. It’s a perfect non-traditional Thanksgiving dessert.

What’s your favorite cobbler? Do you like peach, blackberry, blueberry, raspberry (are there even any more types)? Let me know in the comments!
