Do you have an affinity for Vineyard Vines, bow ties, and seersucker? If so, Alpha Delta Pi’s 2nd Annual Preppy Olympics is the event for you!

Groups of students from a variety of different organizations on campus will have the opportunity to work their finest preppy wear and show off their Badminton, Polo, and KanJam skills for the event, all while supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities and the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation. Furthermore, the winning team will receive $100 toward the charity of their choice!

“The money going to Ronald McDonald House Charities helps families staying at Ronald McDonald Houses by providing meals, supplies for the houses, and the costs of families’ stays… The Alpha Delta Pi Foundation provides scholarships, emergency grants, leadership training, and preservation of Alpha Delta Pi monuments and memorials,” explained 20-year-old junior and President of CNU’s Chapter of ADPi, Arlyn Thaler.

Can’t make it to Preppy Olympics? You can support ADPi’s philanthropies by attending their fundraiser at Panera on April 6th from 4-8 p.m. and by donating items on Norfolk’s Ronald McDonald House wish list. You can also play #ISpyADPis from April 6th – April 10th by finding groups of six or more ADPi sisters and tweeting a picture to @CNUADPi. Don’t forget to use the hashtag #PreppyOlympics2015 when you do so!

Not ready to show the world your Polo skills just yet? Come on out as an observer and support your favorite team! Said Thaler, “Teams are encouraged to bring spectators and set up a picnic in their designated area. They will have space for tables, chairs, and cornhole boards if they would like to bring them! Spectators are always welcome to cheer on their team!”

Bring out your freshest preppy attire and join ADPi this Friday, April 10th, at 3 p.m. on the Warwick lawn for an evening you won’t want to miss! And who knows, maybe you’ll win the title of Mr. or Ms. Preppy.
