5 Easy to Make Halloween Recipes

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at CNU chapter.

Love Halloween? Yeah, me too. Ever seen those really elaborate Halloween baked goods on Pinterest and thought Wow, I wish I could make those, but I suck at it too much? Yeah, me too.

But, never fear! I looked through Pinterest and other sites and found 5 super easy-to-make Halloween recipes for you to try. And just in time for all the parties, too!

1. Halloween Pumpkin Brownies

That’s right. Pumpkin and chocolate and sprinkles, oh my. Just follow the directions (which is basically brownie mix with pumpkin puree and fancy chocolate chips), bake, let them cool, and enjoy!

2. Halloween Caramel Pretzel Bites

These are a bit more intensive, but they’d be super fun to do with your roomies or your hall if you live in Warwick! They involve dipping Rolos sandwiched between pretzel squares in almond bark and covering them in sprinkles. It might get messy — except that’s the fun part!

3. Easy Mummy Brownies

Ever wanted to feel like you’re one of those featured cake decorators on Tasty videos? This is the recipe to do that with. While, yes, it’s brownies and melted chocolate, you get to be cake decorator for fifteen minutes! Melt the white chocolate, put it into a gallon-sized plastic bag, cut off a corner of the bag, and pipe the chocolate in weird patterns over the brownies!

4. Reese’s Halloween Cookie Bars

If you don’t have the cash, don’t waste your money on the name brand candy eyeballs. These cookie bars are quick to make (you don’t have to spoon out even sized balls of dough or anything). It also uses pre-made peanut butter cookie mix, so it cuts down on ingredients and cost for those of you who don’t want to buy a huge container of flour or something.

5. Salted Caramel-Filled Chocolate Cookies

These are a lot easier to make than you think. In order to get the caramel in the middle, take a Milky Way, cut it in half, take a ball of cookie dough, separate it, then put the Milky Way in the middle and smush the dough back together. Simple as that!

Happy Halloween, Captains!
