With the helping hand of Pandora, I have officially checked out. “Today’s Country Radio” station has mercilessly jolted me into summer mode; final papers and portfolios have become an inside joke between me, myself and I. Yep. How am I supposed to write an issue paper with Jake Owen singing in my ear about “Beachin?” George Strait sure isn’t helping either. I’m assuming these papers will eventually write themselves, so in the meantime I’ve planned my summer concert goals. If you’re not from New Jersey, this may be irrelevant (or relevant, depending on how much you want to spend on a plane ticket into Newark). You also just might not care. But humor me please. I’ve avoided a lot of paper-writing to make this list.

Wowie. 8 concerts. I don’t know how I’ll swing that with an unpaid internship, but my goal is to attend at least four. I think it’s time to smash the piggy bank and scrounge for wheat pennies. Until then, good luck with the last two weeks of classes! FOCUS. Don’t let the summer music knock you out of your study groove.
