How to wear Detailed Collars

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at CMU chapter.

Detailed collars are a popular way to put a stylish twist on a conservative neckline. Detailed collars cater to a variety of styles by using bohemian beadwork, delicate lace, intricate threadwork, and edgy metallic studs. Accentuate a dramatic detailed collar with simple jewelry and an updo that keeps long hair off the shoulders. If the shirt is too wide or large, use a thin belt to cinch the waist. Select a belt that is similar in color to the shirt to avoid looking overly segmented.
