The versatility of gold jewelry is great for styling new outfits. A thin chain can make a solid dress more formal, while bolder accessories can add edge to any outfit. Above, I’ve opted for the edgier look with a multi-ring ear cuff (not a piercing), spike earrings, a chained headband, a stud ring with rhinestone accents, and a long waterfall necklace with a rhinestone pendant. The rule of “matching metals” is dated, so feel free to pair gold with silver or even different shades of gold, such as rose and yellow. For a posh look, wear a variety of gold accessories. The more you accessorize, the more luxurious it will look. Keep the outfit from looking over-the-top by covering up with a dark fitted blazer. If you want to keep it casual, wear jean shorts over patterned black tights and a flat-heeled boot.
