Hello everyone! Don’t worry—if you were looking for a DIY fashion project, you’re still at the right place. I will be switching off between different types of DIY projects, just with a focus on fashion. But this craft project is in the spirit of Halloween!

About the Project:

Get ready for a girly spin on a traditional Halloween and fall decoration! This fun and easy glitter pumpkin gives the jack-o-lantern a run for his money. Instead of having to throw your pumpkin out after a week, this pumpkin can last you for weeks in your dorm or apartment.

Materials Needed:

  • Small pumpkin
  • Craft glue
  • Glitter (any color)
  • Newspaper

Step-By-Step:

1) Take your newspaper and lay it across the table so you won’t get any surfaces messy. Take your pumpkin and squeeze on lines of glue around the top and sides of the pumpkin. Evenly spread and distribute the glue.

2) Sprinkle on the glitter and make sure you cover every spot!

3) Set aside the pumpkin for a few hours to let the glue dry. When the glue is entirely dried, flip it over and do Steps 1 and 2 for the bottom of the pumpkin. Let dry for another few hours.

4) Ta da! You now have your very own quick and easy glitter pumpkin ready for fall, Halloween, or Thanksgiving. They make refreshing decorations around the room. Optional: If the top layer of glitter is falling off, you can paint on clear nail polish to seal in the glitter.
