I know I’m not the only one who LOVES Law and Order: SVU – the 19 seasons and counting tell me that (Also, Taylor Swift named her cat after Benson…wish I had thought of that first). So, I know that I’m speaking for many, when I say that Olivia Benson is one of the greatest female heroines to grace the screen. She’s intelligent, quick, and everything that is BA. She is inspirational while being real.

Don’t believe me? Keep reading…

She runs with the best of them.

She keeps going and doesn’t let her past define her.

Her dedication is unmatched.

She’s smart.

Not only does she love her job, she loves her kid and will go to any length to protect him.

One look from her sends shivers up the spines of the perpetrators. She’s intimidating in the best way possible – you don’t mess with her.

She works for the victims and stops at nothing to give them justice.

Thank you Sergeant Benson!
