Need Help With Lent? There’s An App For That!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Clemson chapter.

Well ladies, the verdict is in- they have
offifically managed to invent an app for everything: even Lent! That’s right, there are a multitude of applications for your iPhone or Droid that are specifically geared to help you with the Lenten season. I know keeping our commitments for forty days can sometimes be really tough, so now there’s not only one but multiple apps to help us out!

If you search “Lent” in your app store, you’ll find that each app varies from having inspirational verses to remind you of what days to fast! For $0.99, you can track your commitment process and stay on track with inspirational quotes and stories for each day: the “40 Days Lent Observance App” by Samadhi Games seems to be the current favorite. There are also other apps that are generated specifically towards your religious preference: Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant, Presbyterian, etc. Although most of the Lent apps are $0.99, there are some free ones out there, too. Now you can keep up with the Lenten season everywhere you go- super convenient, right?! Be sure to check it out, Easter is still a long ways away!
