Her Campus Clemson hosted The Brand Girls for their college tour this year! We were in for an amazing night of networking and confidence building. Here are our favorite tips from the night…
1. You’re your biggest promoter!
It may sound obvious, but be your biggest supporter and cheerleader! No one is going to do it for you and you’re the perfect person to sell your brand. So get after it!
2. There will always be people in your corner!
Find people who support your dreams & who have been where you are before…they’re out there! Find those people who inspire you to fulfill your potential and encourage you to create the life you imagine. It’s a beautiful thing when people come together to empower and build up one other. All you have to do is find them!
3. Confidence is key!
In the professional world, it’s important to present and market yourself, and confidence is the key to doing this well. It’s not bragging and you aren’t being cocky. You’re owning your skills, credentials and personality, and you’re rocking it!
4. Carry a business card!
This is the quickest and easiest way to seem both personal and professional. It’s also super convenient. You don’t need to scramble around for a pen and paper or take out your phone. It’s simply and very effective.
5. You can make the change you want!
It’s up to you to make the changes you want to see in your life. You choose to build your life your way. So, if you want to change something, take a deep breath and go for it!
