3. Why you chose Clemson University:
I always knew I wanted to travel out of state for college and so I applied all over the country and visited several
places in search of the one that fit my checklist the best and also felt like
home. Spring break last year I visited Clemson and immediately fell in love
with not only the campus but also the students here of whom several came
up to me during my visit sharing their personal experiences of Clemson and
why they love it so much.
4. Favorite thing about writing for Her Campus Clemson
I think of writing as an escape from the stresses of schoolwork and also a
way to organize my thoughts into something that is hopefully meaningful or
joyful for other people to read.
5. What else are you involved in on campus?
I am hoping to become involved with Alpha Epsilon Delta, AMSA, and Greek
Life here. Unfortunately Tiger Prowl was canceled at the beginning of the
year so I am trying to become more informed about the different
organizations here but I was also thinking ClemsonLive! sounded like a lot of
fun.
6. Favorite Clemson restaurant/bar
Coming from California, I actually haven’t tried many of the popular restaurants
here in Clemson yet but my favorite restaurant in Greenville is Larkin’s by the
River.
7. What do you do in your free time?
My roommate and I do a lot of the fitness classes at Fike and are looking forward to
do more day trips to the surrounding lakes and hiking spots. Most of the time that
I’m not studying I just enjoy spending time with my friends and getting to know
more people here.

Iliza Shlesinger (watch her Netflix specials, they will change your life)
9. Favorite Clemson tradition:
I love the tradition of tailgating and how excited and passionate the whole
town is over football here. Where I come from people are not very school
spirited or into football so coming to Clemson where the students bleed
orange is a very nice change.
10. Ideal/best first date you have been on
I’d have to say hands down the best first date I’ve been on was my first date in 4th
grade when my mom took me and my boyfriend to the movies and sat two rows
behind us the entire time. Young love.
11. What do you want to do in your career?
I want to be a dermatologist!
12. Current favorite fashion trend?
The midi boot.
13. What fun things did you do this summer?
I had my first job at a local bakery and worked with my best friend, which was fun
and taught me some very important skills. I also went to Maui with my family, which
was amazing and extremely beautiful.
